NI HAO SHANGHAI, OUR FIRST FAMILY TRIP ABROAD.

Our trip to Shanghai will always be special to us because it was our very first travel abroad as a family — Mom, Dad, my sister, my brothers, my niece, and me. After years of talking about it, we finally made it happen.

The moment we arrived, the cool Christmas weather surprised us! Coming from warm weather, we didn’t expect Shanghai to feel that crisp and chilly. Walking through the city with the cold breeze and festive lights around made everything feel extra magical.

What made the trip even more memorable was sharing every moment together — from exploring the busy streets, trying new food, and taking lots of photos, to simply laughing while figuring out the subway and staying warm in our jackets.

Seeing my niece experience her first international trip was also priceless. Her excitement over everything — the tall buildings, the decorations, even the cold air — reminded us how special the moment was.

Traveling as a family makes every place feel different. Shanghai gave us beautiful sights and unforgettable memories, but the best part was experiencing it all together.
