THE MUDBRICK KASBAHS OF AIT BENHADDOU

We just arrived in Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village in Morocco that is considered one of the most beautiful and exotic places in the world. It's easy to see why!

The village is built on a hilltop, with red mudbrick kasbahs (fortified houses) that tumble down the hillside. The kasbahs are topped with crenellated towers and surrounded by palm trees, creating a truly stunning sight.

We arrived in Ait Benhaddou in the late afternoon, and the sun was setting as we walked through the village. The sky was ablaze with color, and the kasbahs glowed in the mesmerizing light

It was like something out of a dream. We spent the afternoon wandering around the village, exploring the kasbahs and taking in the sights and sounds.

There were locals going about their daily lives, and tourists from all over the world taking pictures. It was a truly magical experience. We spent the rest of the afternoon exploring Ait Benhaddou and the surrounding area.

We also hiked up to a viewpoint that offered stunning views of the village and the valley below. I had an amazing time.

It is truly a one-of-a-kind place, and I would highly recommend visiting if you ever get the chance. It is an exotic and unforgettable experience.
